Day 5 of 30
It’s Sunshine Sunday! While you’re at home practicing social distancing, why not try gardening? Start your seedlings inside, or regrow foods from kitchen scraps! Once it warms up, plant your growing sprouts in a special place in your yard. If you don’t have the space, gift them to a loved one or offer them at a plant swap! Vegetable gardens, pollinators gardens, and rain gardens are all beneficial additions to the urban environment. Use the links below to learn how you can use egg cartons to grow seeds and what vegetable scraps you can salvage!
